Description
In this bog oak sculpture, I am reminded of the many monsters who are believed to inhabit many of the lakes and rivers in Ireland.
One man recalls seeing
” a most terrible creature resembling nothing he ever saw before. The monster lifted its head so high that it seemed to be higher than the crows nest on the top of the tree. The head was small and the body short and wrinkled. The unknown creature was using huge wings to take itself through the water.”
